Specialisation Animation

Animation has become increasingly important in the creative and entertainment industries over the last few decades. With applications including advertising, health, special effects, film, military, legal system and video games, animation is no longer considered merely the domain of a younger audience. Whether online or on the big screen, animation is in high demand and the Noroff program is specifically designed to offer students an experience that converges the two essential components of animation: art and technology.

Students in the Noroff animation degree will tell their stories by exploring a range of concepts, tools and technologies both in contemporary and historical use. 

From concept right through to distribution, the Bachelor of Animation at Noroff University College, prepares you for all the stages of pre-production, production and post-production required in the workflow process of animation. You will work on scripts and storyboards, create animatics, model, rig and animate characters, composite, edit and mix, all to bring your original idea to life.
