Aims of the study program
The program aims to develop individuals with a holistic understanding of key practice, principles and procedures of computer security. Students will have a blend of skills and practical experience in either investigating the misuse of computer systems and networks.
The Forensics degree aims to provide students with the required background to act as a digital investigator, they will become competent in the collection, processing and secure handling of digital evidence from a variety of sources. They will have received instruction on the full life cycle of a digital investigation. This will encompass the collection of evidence from a crime scene, through the analysis to the final production of a report according to recognised standards.
In addition, the Noroff graduate will acquire the principles for selfYreflective practice and understand the importance of an explorative, yet focused approach to for lifeYlong learning. During their learning journey, the Noroff Digital Forensics graduate has engaged in industryYstandard best practice in relation to information security.
As a strategic thinker, the Noroff Digital Forensics graduate recognizes the importance of active engagement and transferable skills in preparation for industry employment.
